We use Ace Project, an award-winning project management tool that allows us to keep track of all the details of your projects so you can see at a glance progress that has been made and know that we’re delivering your search engine marketing project on time and on budget. 

PRODUCT & CONTENT MANAGEMENT:

We’ve created a proprietary system for product and content administration that allows for moving quickly on product and content changes needed for your customers.   

WEB ANALYTICS:

We use Omniture Site Catalyst for our premier web analytics tool.  We can also use the tool provided by your current web host. We can deliver daily, weekly and monthly reports indicating visitor activity and behavior and track all of your campaigns, including pay per click, natural search, direct mail, email and more.   Only spend your search engine marketing budget on the efforts that get you return on your marketing investment. 

PPC ANALYTICS:

We use Google Analytics for our pay per click management and analytics tool.  We can manage 10 keyword campaigns and 10,000 keyword campaigns.  We can help you get the best results on your PPC ads and the best return possible on your PPC investment. 

SEARCH RANKING TOOLS:

We use WordPosition and Digital Point to keep track of your ranking for important keywords.

PR:

TIPS FOR FINDING A SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING AGENCY

Ask for credentials:  How long have you been in business, what have you achieved for your clients, what organizations are your involved with in your industry? Google and Yahoo certification, membership in organizations such as SEMPO (Search Engine Marketing Professionals Organization).  Some agencies use Black Hat tactics that can get you in trouble with Google, Yahoo and MSN and can even get you black listed from the engines.  Make sure that your new agency obeys the rules of good Search Engine Marketing.  Visit the About Us section  to learn about more about our work philosophies.

Get a proposal or statement of work: You can’t know if your new agency is successful unless they define goals up front.  Make sure you have detail about the proposal.  If an agency says they’ll get you ten keywords in the top 10 in 2 weeks, they’re probably not for real.  Good search engine marketing takes time, it’s like creating a relationship with your visitors that the engines recognize.  Buying 10,000 links from a link farm may get you placement for a couple of weeks, but that’s not helping your visitors.  Any proposal you review should include what the agency is going to do for your customers, remember that what is good for your visitors (great content, great internal linking structure, great site architecture, easy to navigate site) is good for the engines.   Click here if you’d like to request a consultation.
